Bats

Southeast Michigan in the native home of botht he Indiana brown and big brown bat. Although both species are relatively small, they often travel in large colonies.

Bats often find their ways into attics. Their presence can be identified by scratching sounds at night accompanied with chirping sounds.  These colonies not only create irritating sounds but also produce an unpleasant odor as a result of their droppings and urine.

Bat proofing your building is the only way permantly remove the problem. This involves correcting all physical and man made flaws into the building structure and installing a one way device that permits bats to leave but not to reenter.

Your first step to getting your house bat proofed is to call Pesky Critter for an inspection at 248-812-8120. During this inspection, we will determine what species of bats the house has, what type of roast it is. What physical and man made flaws we need to correct and when we can schedule the work. From this inspection we can determine what the costs will be to bat proof the building. Exclusion can be very expensive on large buildings or on those having a great many openings, but most houses that are in good condition can be bat proofed for a lot less. Bat removal can also be guaranteed for 5 years.
